Giving Programs

Direct Giving Program

The program is currently closed and will reopen on September 10, 2026.

Fast, practical financial relief. Within seven days.

Our Direct Giving Program offers funding for Australians facing acute financial stress—when support is urgently needed, and other options have been exhausted.

We work directly with social workers, case managers and allied health professionals across public health settings and charitable organisations to deliver timely, tailored support that can help maintain basic standards of safety, wellbeing, dignity or independence. Support may be requested for a wide range of needs—from whitegoods to accessibility items or items for personal safety.

This program operates in Victoria, New South Wales, ACT and Queensland.

To apply, eligible professionals must submit applications through our secure Grants Portal. We assess applications weekly and aim to respond quickly—because we know urgent needs don’t wait.

Judy Lennox Memorial Grant

Practical support for organisations supporting people with disability.

The Judy Lennox Memorial Grant provides one-off funding to an organisation supporting people with disability — backing programs, services or equipment that improve equity, access, inclusion and independence.

This annual grant honours Judy Lennox, a long-serving former supporter of The Hall Foundation and believer in dignity and autonomy for people living with disability. Judy lived with severe physical disability and established this fund through a final act of generosity, ensuring others could access the same practical support that enabled her to live fully.
