Direct Giving Program

Fast, practical financial relief. Within seven days.

Our Direct Giving Program offers funding for Australians facing acute financial stress—when support is urgently needed, and other options have been exhausted.

We work directly with social workers, case managers and allied health professionals across public health settings and charitable organisations to deliver timely, tailored support that can help maintain basic standards of safety, wellbeing, dignity or independence. Support may be requested for a wide range of needs—from whitegoods to travel for medical care or items for personal safety.

Grants are paid directly to the supplier or service provider—never the individual—and typically land within seven days.

To apply, eligible professionals must submit applications through our secure Grants Portal. We assess applications weekly and aim to respond quickly—because we know urgent needs don’t wait.

Judy Lennox Annual Memorial Grant

Practical support for organisations supporting people with disability.

The Judy Lennox Memorial Grant provides one-off funding to an organisation supporting people with disability — backing programs, services or equipment that improve equity, access, inclusion and independence.

This annual grant honours Judy Lennox, a long-serving former supporter of The Hall Foundation and believer in dignity and autonomy for people living with disability. Judy lived with severe physical disability and established this fund through a final act of generosity, ensuring others could access the same practical support that enabled her to live fully.

Applications open Monday 29 September, 2025.
